In the West German 1970-car magazine, which yesterday I had in my letter-box (an eBay-deal), I've found a reader's letter inside: why they hadn't made any road test with Skoda-cars? They would be interesting for people with less money, because they are so cheap (indeed, for many years, Skodas had been the cheapest cars on the West German market). The answer was: the importer had refused to give them a car. The first reason should be, that there were enough road tests written about that.
