Might be a GT6 on the shed roof. 2 Vauxhalls (PB and FB), 2 grey A30/A35. |

@dsl It is a GT6. Lots of interesting old stuff in this scene. |

2Cv van - never sold in UK (apart from a few 1950s Slough builds with previous front in late 50s). |

Like a good scrap yard. Crane is a Neal and worth an entry IMHO as British and rare . I see that Thames Trader ' camper' from Confessions of a Driving Instructor sneaks in at top. Maybe it is Robin Asquiths 'Winnebago' -- Last edit: 2022-04-09 21:37:34 |

Is it not an Acadiane? There was a brief (thankfully) vogue of importing the things to U.K. Post meeting note: No, 1977+, so doesn’t fit date of film. -- Last edit: 2022-04-09 08:49:23 |

It's definitely a 2CV van - unusual to see in a scrapyard (or at all) in this era in the UK. There is an earlier shot where you can see the right rear side of it briefly. I will try to screencap that too. |

Citroen 2cv van type AK not Acadiane because this car was built in 1977 and the film is from 1976. The Acadiane had square headlights in the wings, this is not the case here... Little trick : Acadiane comes from "AK" (Citroen type) + "Dyane" (2cv model "Dyane") = Acadien (Cadjun) a little wink to Louisiana .... they were having fun at Citroen at this time ![]() -- Last edit: 2022-04-11 20:21:40 |
