An incredibly large engine for a small van...!

It was used by an English company running tours to the World War I battlefields in Northern France.

I hope for the owner that he does not pay the tax corresponding to a 10-litre engine :D (if in UK it is like here in Belgium, based on engine size)

On this age of vehicle, tax is done on the engine capacity, but I think the top rate is charged for anything 2 litre and over.

Why the heck does this vehicle need 10 liters? :wow:

It does not, it is just an error in the DVLA database ;) I guess that these had engines around 1.5 and 3 L at most.

So far as I can tell they had 1.7 litre petrol and 2.1 and 2.5 diesels. I imagine some apparatchik at the DVLA, not having the slightest idea, simply hit the 9 key four times :D
