northwest ◊ 2008-09-15 04:51	Check Buick's original 1936 brochure and you will see that this is indeed a 1936 Buick. However it is NOT a Special. The spare tires were mounted in the fenders ONLY on the Roadmaster and the Limited editions. Since this appears to be a six passenger, it can only be a 1936 Buick Roadmaster.
nzcarnerd ◊ 2009-04-29 11:46	Big Dave is correct on this one and northwest is completely wrong. This is definitely a 1938 Buick and probably a model 41 Special although I think the only way to be sure would be to know the owner of the car. Side mounted spares were available on all series although most Specials didn't have them. In NZ though, all Buicks of this era had them. This car also looks to be fitted with oversize whitewall tyres.
