zodiac ◊ 2022-02-05 12:43	I believe this is a Mk2 Low Line 1959+ Ford Zodiac Convertible by Carbodies of Coventry. It has the 1959+ facia and the Zodiac only clock above the inside rear view mirror. The boot hinges were standard fittings on the Carbodies Convertibles. zodiac ◊ 2022-06-25 23:04	I've stared enough times on that facia to recognize it in my sleep. At the moment I'm dealing with the concequenses of a worn starter engine. That is I didn't understand that the Bendix drive had got stuck on the starter ring gear and tried a rolling start down a slope. Unfortunately that put too much stress on the electricity system and shorted, at least, the voltage regulator and the ignition lock. Having sortered those and the starter engine, I've somewhat scared to start the Zephyr up, as there might be other things broken. I like Lucas system for car electricity, but they could have used three bearings in the starter engine (like Bosch) instead of only two! -- Last edit: 2022-07-21 11:02:23
