Not Dongfeng. It's an Admiral pickup. But admittedly, I don't know how to call them. In Russia (it officially entered the market in 2005), these are mostly called either Tianye Admiral or ZX (Zhongxing) Admiral. I've plate-checked most of these on drive2.ru, and they usually resulted with the name : Tianye Admiral. Or at least with this front-end, with the other front ( like this one ), the plate only says : Admiral. According to this, Tianye is (or was by now?) a manufacturing company (they were the co-owners of ZX Auto some time ago) and Admiral, apparently, was their only product. I've read somewhere that they may have been locally-built, but can't confirm if this was about this model or not. However even when the plate says Tianye, it appears that they still have ZX Auto badges (on the tailgate) : https://www.drive2.com/r/other/other/4062246863888235633/ So, I'll let decide who obviously knows better.. or perhaps someone who is the owner of such pickups. At the moment we can call it ZX Auto, by default. Merged : ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2022-01-23 17:42:25 |
