Now, as for the car itself, we get a looksie at the hood ornament: Which makes me realise that the mainpic is no ambulance at all, but a 1952 Nash Ambassador police car (1953 had a different hood ornament). I'll remove the thumb and put it on the front page as I doubt we'll pin it down properly.
