Yes, that is her car. The one in the movie. I have it in Napa California, rust free. 1962 Buick Invicta 29, 000 miles from the 1963 Hitchcock movie The Birds. The Buick is seen in the opening scene of the movie when Tippi Haderen is walking along Powell Street at Geary Ave in San Francisco. The car is a 1962 Hardtop with a 401 cubic inch V8 Nail Head. The car was owned by my great aunt and she was driving it at the time of the movie. She signed a release which I'm in the process of recovering from Universal Studios. I have a great backstory about Hitchcock which puts him in the back seat of the car. The car runs great could use a tune-up and needs paint. The car is original everything and had been sitting outside for the past few years. I want the car to go to a collector or someone who will appreciate the movie history and car for what it is. I will add more photos later. Look for it on e bay . photo of opening scene http://www.flickr.com/photos/hungry_i/38131497/ |

No longer on Craigslist. Asking price a little steep - $10,000... Did it find a new owner? |
