It seems that most site listings for the Mercedes-Benz 770 are either from films of the '40s and '50s, stock footage from the time of the Third Reich's existence or films taking place then. The only other times this model has appeared was in animated form in episodes of The Simpsons and Futurama. Kind of surprised it hasn't shown up on display in a museum in a movie, in the background of a modern rich person's car collection or being used to chauffeur said rich person around, much like how one would be chauffeured in a Rolls-Royce or Bentley. Perhaps the type of people commonly associated with the model has something to do with it. |
