Is Henry J the full proper name? Some of these listed as Kaisers: /vehicles_make-Kaiser_model-Henry+J.html

Just thinking about the same. Before this we had two Henry J's and two Kaiser Henry J's listed in the database.

According to my info Henry J was a separate make indeed, though produced by Kaiser... The car shown here as the 1951 only grille (which is not surprising since the Henry J was introduced as 1951 model, and the movie dates from 1952...).

Trunk lids were not available for the early models, but became an option during 1951.

This car has the stainless steel moulding around the wind shield which makes it the Henry J Deluxe 6 cylinder [Model K514].

Who keeps changing 'Deluxe' to 'De Luxe'?

I did not change this one but usually when I change one it is to match others listed on the site (in this case, others should be changed if there is no space)
It would be nice if for each make (or model) we could decide what to use, cf http://forum.imcdb.org/forum_topic-2941-DeLuxe_or_De_Luxe_.html

The Henry J was a seperate car made by Kaiser-Frazer and named for Henry J Kaiser. Sears sold a modified version with all Sears parts, tires, battery, radio, sparkplugs, voltage reg etc. called "Allstate." I think there is an Allstate in "Liberty Heights"
