AnimatronixX ◊ 2021-12-05 19:29	What humans did to express their worship of a specific (wo)man on the verge of the 21st Century: General Motors de México S.A. de C.V. built this unique vehicle for pope John Paul II (that is not Lennon/McCartney!!) and equipped it with what I imagine to be an elevated catapult seat for a really rapid ascension to heaven (unverified). But in the end Mr. Pope merely blessed it and the car never got fully poped, because the security people found it was a slightly better target display than the Lincoln carrying a ground-level-seated JFK a few decades before and they generally prefer popes in terrariums. Now that would have been a crazy ride, especially at higher speed! Just imagine the airstream forming some sort of fashionable turban around the pontifical cranium - good job he's got hardly any hair! He would have been the epicenter of a gigantic white rose and we were robbed of some great action shots.
