SdKfz 251/1D http://sdkfz.com/site/collection.php "This vehicle was abandoned in Graz April 1945 by SS Wiking, the 5th Waffen SS division which was made up almost entirely of volunteers from Europe. It was abandoned together with two other 250s in the face of certain defeat by the Russians. This vehicle, together with its companions, a 250/5 and a 250/1 – both new versions, ended up at the bottom of a scrapheap until 1974 when a group of enthusiast friends rescued them." |
