Coupe De Ville? |

I think so from what I can see inside. Must be a 1954 or 55. |

1954 to 56 Cadillac, they had the same windshield and roof lines and cowl vents hard to tell them apart. I think the Autronic Eye was introduced in 55. |

I think the Autronic Eye already came in 1952 (I´ve driven at least two 1953 Eldorados with that original option according to the body plate). I tend to exclude the 1956 model year because I believe we see enough of the rear fender... Opinions about that? -- Last edit: 2008-02-27 21:56:14 |

1955 Coupe de Ville (90% sure). There's no chrome strip (that I can see) along the top of the rear tail fin, which eliminates any 1956 model. Although the image is dark, you can still make out the design of the seat back which corresponds to the 1955 Series 62 "Coupe de Ville". |

1956 Cadillac (now 100% sure). I watched the movie again last night; it's a '56. You can see the chrome strip along the top of the rear fender as the car moves away. In the same movie, at the beginning there are some partial views also of a 1955 "Series 75" sedan or limousine. Also lots of other US cars of the period 1950-60. |
