No it's not. This is a late 80's/early 90's VW Cabriolet, with its distinctive plastic bumpers. |

Only Golf 1 and 5, this is from the time of Golf 2 (even if it is still Golf 1 based, being convertible), and was named "Cabriolet". |

It is a 1990 or 1991 Nugget Yellow Cabriolet. The Rabbit Convertible name ended with the 1984 model year. Yellow Clipper kit Cabriolets (in the USA market) did not exist prior to the 1990 model year (Jasmine Yellow of 1992 is a softer/lighter yellow). |
