It is a Morris-Commercial C8 truck made from 1939-44. |

It is a 1944 Morris C8 GS British Army truck. Made in the end of 1944. I own one. |

The make is 'Morris-Commercial' which was a company of its own within the Nuffield group. http://www.geocities.com/vk3cz/story.html http://www.armyvehicles.dk/morriscomc8gs.htm I do not know if it is possible to identify a specific year. morrisc8, can you tell us more about that? |

The Morris C8 GS 4x4 15Cwt was made in late 1944 under contract No S6450. You can tell this is a 1944 by the bonnet being the same hight as the radiator the older Morris Trucks were 4x2 and the bonnet was higher than the radiator. |
