Santanas were exported to South and Central America (and North Africa and Middle East) from 1962, starting with S2a range. Morocco and Costa Rica mentioned in sources, other destinations not listed. |

Continuing my Canary Islands hunch, I think these might be Spanish police and Guardia Civil vehicles in disguise. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Cuerpo_Nacional_de_Polic%C3%ADa_(Espa%C3%B1a),_autom%C3%B3vil_Land_Rover_Santana_88_Especial,_CPN_8001_S_(44903438382).jpg (khaki with a black stripe) https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:LandRoverTr%C3%A1fico.jpg (side windows match the station wagon in the third thumbnail) -- Last edit: 2021-09-14 15:16:41 |

Several factors suggest that these scenes are shot in Spain: the police uniform is vaguely familiar to me. In the first thumb it seems that I recognize a Simca 1200, a very Spanish car ... and I would say that the license plates are Spanish and the Santana cars ... |
