These early ones did indeed have an Opel-variant http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6133/5927556678_085f2b2040_z.jpg Although they had an Opel-badge, by the VIN-numbers, so the GM-internal classification, which is deciding for the insurance- and TÜV-classification in Germany, it was always still a Vauxhall. So all of them are listed a Vauxhall. This is the reason, why my 2008 Vauxhall Vectra MkII is registrated as an Opel. Fortunately, because for exots -which a Vauxhall is in Germany- I have to chance to get an insurance-on-hull, not even at the insurance-company, I'm working in since over 20 years.
