RHD, therefore most probably a UK product. I thoughtmost Frazer-Nashes were roadsters and so I'd tend to Bristol 400. But then I found this site (which I cannot read, it's Polish...): Link to "www.motofakty.pl"

Edit: I found this site by googling Frazer-Nash, but I guess the blue car IS a Bristol 400...

It is a 1949 Bristol 400-85. In fact ,The full denomination is 1949 Bristol-Frazer Nash Bristol 400-85. This is because just after world war II Bristols and Frazer Nashes were distributed as Bristol-Frazer Nash . The other model listed by Bristol-Frazer Nash was the Frazer-Nash " High Speed" 2 seater on the shorter chassis of 2,44 m instead of 2,90 m developing 122 hp instead of 81 with 3 Solex carbs.

Shall we list it as Bristol then (to keep things clear)? And should it be: origin Germany, built in UK, made for GB?

Looking closely at the front end of this car there are some details that don't match with a Bristol 400: it never had a two-piece front bumper and the bonnet was different without these side vents. So, I think this can be a pre-war ( circa 1938 ) Frazer Nash-BMW 327.

Obrigado, rpcm ... I wondered why I wasn't happy with it. I'm almost certain you're right.
