2M means 1952 Mercury and we don't use that designation on IMCDb. 79B refers to a full-sized Ford or Mercury 4-door, 8-passenger (or 9-passenger) station wagon. In 1952-54 there were two Mercury model lines, the Custom and Monterey. In 1952 the station wagon was part of the Custom line, and became part of the Monterey line for 53/54. |
