On the evidence of the short wheelbase, and the location of the petrol filler, it’s a Morris-Commercial PV. Can’t help on the coachwork, though. |

The fuel filler is too far forward for the PV I believe. I cannot detect the wheelbase as the front also has another car's bumper in in the way. I think it's just possibly MYR 961 again. -- Last edit: 2021-06-21 15:53:34 |

Found I believe 'XYG 286'. It appears to be this actual 1952 Bedford as being sold on eBay, (the registration 'MYR 961' is a floater seen on Lomas and Spurling ambulances). Link to "www.ebay.co.uk" ![]() |

Guess where MYR 961 has landed now .... seems to have happened recently as the plate was a no show when checked in Oct 2018. We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided FIAT PANDA ACTIVE ECO 2009 Registration number: MYR 961 Body type: 5 Door Hatchback Colour: Red Date of first registration: September 2009 |

I'm having to reassess if it at actually is a K-type chassis because it's rather unusual in being advertised as a MLZ on eBay (which I discounted because of the simpler disc K-type wheels). Bedford ambulances were commonly on the KZ chassis however 'XYG 286' does look to have a considerably longer M-type chassis, therefore I tend to agree with the eBay description. |

Now found that according to A Pictorial Review of Lomas Ambulances chassis type Bedford KZ ML2 was used on some (or many?) 1950s ambulances so a K-type on an M-type length chassis. |
