That badge on the trunk makes me think this is an Oldsmobile.

I believe it is a circa 1951 Packard.

I think 1951 Packards had a wider rear window and horizontal rear lights.

1951-52 had these vertical ones, 1953 were horizontal,

I think it looks like this 1953 Packard Clipper: http://www.imperialclub.com/Events/AnnistonSpring02/Mvc-362s.jpg

Rear window is not 1953 , rhose were squarer.I would agree with Allessandro 58 here , a 1951 Packard 200 ( 24th series model 2401), the smaller series.

Not a 1953, no chrome fin accents on top of rear fenders.

Interesting discussion.

This is definitely a Packard 200. This style taillamp was used on the 200 and the 250 series. Since this is not a hardtop or a convertible, it cannot be a 250.
The senior models (300 and 400) used the horizontal design mentioned.

Not a '53, as all '53's had wrapped rear windows.

This could be either a '51 or '52. You can tell by the trunk ornament. This one is a bit far away but I believe it is of the 1951 style.

Have now concluded this is a '51, specifically.
The '51 200's were the only ones to have joined rear bumper guards as pictured.
