Very unusual to see it in left-hand drive configuration, let alone seeing it outside of Japan. I wonder how many made it to Europe ?

This car was never sold in Europe, it is the US model, imported and registered in Greece, only 20 LHD Toyota Sports 800s were built.

I wouldn’t be so sure. Greece was one of the first European markets where Japanese cars were sold, and one of the only places for LHD Holdens.

In total more than 3000 examples of Sports 800 were built and most sources online claim that 10% (300) of that production were made with left-hand drive configuration :

That being said, it is true that the reason they made LHD versions was because they were meant to be sold in the American-occupied Okinawa at that time (which drove on the right), even though, from what I've read, they didn't manage to sell that many for them.

It's very possible a few escaped to other LHD countries and Greece was a popular "testing ground" for cars in the European market, so this may have been imported as a test car.
