Some Alfa Romeo fuoriserie?

Not the Sprint GTC for sure. Looks like a cut car. I am not sure it's even an Alfa. The back is strange, is it definitely the same car? It doesn't come from a 105/115 coupe nor a Giulietta/Giulia spider or any other AR I can think of.

I see this is a sci-fi series so possibly they sort of tweaked things a bit to look 'futuristic' and not exactly like you'de be used to seeing in Italy in 1975. So we have an SM which most people wouldn't know about in 1975 (how common was it in Italy?) and looks futuristic enough and of course the prototype racecar can be placed in a later time by the average viewer. In other words they maybe changed the back and the front from a 105 coupe and cut the roof.. also the windscreen doesn't come from the Bertone coupe neither do the wheel arches (which can easily be modified for a movie)

Since it has a Maserati engine and Maserati was bought by Citroën, I think it was well known in Italy.

Sure Maserati and all that, but still they were very expensive and didn't sell bucket loads of them. I doubt the *average* viewer in 1975 Italy would be so familiar with them.

Random idea - something by OSI???

Could be an OSI Ford 20m with a few mods? There was also a spider one-off. I think the windscreen is too upright and belongs to a 4 door car.. but maybe it's just me.

This could be Fiat 1500 Spider by Savio, but there are not a lot of pictures of this car online, which is understandable, considering it´s allegedly a one-off :

They also made a limited number of coupes, albeit coupes had straight line on the side instead of the curvy line.
