MisterZ ◊ 2024-07-26 20:37	October 2002+ for the V6 Hilux. Remarkably it took 2 decades for Australia to finally get a V6 - I think the US "Truck" had it since the late 80s? The V6 was eventually discontinued in 2017. Interestingly, there was never an official SR5 cab chassis sold. This must be a custom conversion (they seem to be quite common). An official SR5 cab chassis was only ever offered from 1999-2000, but it was only a 2 door and had a diesel. Also, interestingly, the 3.4L V6 in the Hilux produced only 166 hp, while in the US Tacoma and Tundra it made 190 hp. -- Last edit: 2024-07-27 07:05:48
