Not Custom 300? When did the Custom 300 become the Custom 500? I could swear it was earlier in the 1960's than this. |

I think 1963 was the only year for the Ford 300 (some called the '63 Custom 300,but was just a 300).Previous years from 1957 to 1962 was the Custom 300.Then in 1964 Ford named the Plain Jane Galaxie Custom 500.I have a 1963 Ford 300 2 dr I'm restoring.25,000 were produced,Mostly all were fleet cars.So most were scrapped.Very few exist.Wash.State DMV told me mine is the only 2 dr registered in WA. |

I live in washington and have a ford 300 2 door registered in wa that makes 2. 300 is on the vin tag on the door insted of 500 only made in 63.64 were costom.. |
