Weasel1984 ◊ 2009-02-17 18:45	Ok. The "Polski" was export name for the early ones (some versions for France, Finland and maybe some other countries). Link to "cgi.ebay.pl" However sometimes export cars were also sold at home in so called "internal export" , where it was possible to buy better equiped version, but prices were in $$$. So let's call it according to the badge (even if for sure was reg. here as "Polonez") - it gives us a small collection of exotic names ( /vehicle_124532-FSO-Mistral-MR87-1987.html ). BTW. The Wiki article has been refreshed. Now, there is a lot of interesting details (for example not so well known history of the C-pillar evolution ). There is also (finally!) a year, in which the 3rd type of the side mirrors was introduced - but in this case there is a mistake IMO. Author claims that it was in 1986 (together with black frames of windows and 3rd window), but as we can see here: /vehicle_174193-FSO-Polonez-MR85-1985.html The older car had already them and it is a one from 1985 - so I belive it was in 1985 (at least in some versions).
