Looks like a late 60s Nissan Cedric [130], (in Holland sold as Datsun 2000/2400) but front and bumpers seem to be different. Locally built later model? |

Correct - in ZA also sold as Datsun 2000/ 2400. I am unsure when it was replaced by the next Cedric (branded 260/ 300C) or what the bumpers & front looked like elsewhere. |

I remember these cars (and there is still one around here in Amsterdam!) having thicker bumpers with shorter ends, like Link to "www.nipponclassiccars.org" . But on the same site I found this (Belgian) car with similar bumpers: Link to "www.nipponclassiccars.org" |

And so is there in our town - a beautiful, original one, just well kept by a doting young owner who uses it for everyday transport over every kind of road! |

I think this model began in 1965 and was known in its home market as the "Personal Six". There is the odd one or two of these in NZ. |

Citsa is correct. This version of the Cedric was manufactured in Pretoria from 1967 to early 1972, as the 2000, 2300, or 2400. The local versions never got the squared-off front styling that appeared around 1968 on the Japanese versions. |
