It is a little small for a bus, but I do not know what to choose between 4x4, Van and Wagon...

This is a famous Bus in Manila, these buses are made with a jeep and puting it a larger rear part, they are called Jeepney, I think u should clasify it as a Bus, as that is what it really is.

Vans are also sometimes used as busses, that does not mean they are busses ;)

The base remains a 4x4...

So we list it as "Jeep Jeepney" ?

Quote Maybe a new section for...mini-buses.?

This is a little small for what is usually called "minibus" I think. It does not seem to be bigger than a Renault Espace for example.
Well, it is difficult to classify all these, but adding categories makes the classification even more difficult ;)

Jeepney is a hybrid of a jeep/jitney . The jeepneys were actually modified jeeps from excess war surplus (circa1946-48) and fenders/parts of old American cars.

since the 1950s these jeepneys have been "proper" vehicles, made from scratch and not from ww2 surplus jeeps.

I think I would tend to call it a van. It looks about the same size as a VW van and its not as big as the big american vans and carries no more people.

Did they keep the 4 wheel drive when they modified them?

The early jeepneys were made from wwII surplus army jeeps and have been modified with hodgepodge fenders and chrome from popular American cars. The later ones were made from scratch and as time progressed had actual metal fabrication with the coachbuilders own materials and labour. As for the 4 wheel drive..early models maybe the "later" jeepneys did not have 4wheel drive and had Japanese made diesel engines or Mercedes-Benz diesel engines.

This should be classed as Bus,Single deck.

We should tell IMCDb.Org to change the Jeepneys to Bus,Single Deck.

But do you know how we can tell them?
(anyway, this is more like a lengthened car/SUV/offroad/van than a real bus...)

Who changed them all from Jeep Jeepney to ''Custom Made Jeepney''?

antp BE

"Jeepney" is not a model from Jeep so that way of listing them was not correct anyway
