pilou ◊ 2008-01-04 15:41	1941 DeSoto DeLuxe 7 passenger taxicab on the 139.5 inches chassis series S-8-S) , as spotted by the long and narrow taillights inboard of the rear fender joints with slats extending to the bumper behind the overriders and the straight front fender trim line ( it was curved in 1940).It was not unusual for taxicabs especially in Californian cities to place those round boards that served as a support for publicities on the trunklid .This necessitated deplacing the central license plate to the left and to use a smaller upper instead of lower plate light.The original assembly is still visible under the board
