Made for Japan! How completely comic! It’s a blooming drawing, nothing was made for anywhere, a sure way to make us all look stupid. -- Last edit: 2021-01-21 22:27:46 |

Um .... yes and no. It's a poor drawing, but there is some detail - 1986+ side indicator, it's not a Cooper, and official Mini sales in J restarted in 85 with various local-badged versions of the City and Mayfair - 1000 E, 1000 LE, 1000 HLE and 1300 S, plus some special editions (Sprite, Clubman) which were different from UK. So yes it's just a comic drawing with errors, but there is something specific which they were probably using as the basis for their doodles. |

But, apart from the drawing, no real artefact was produced. This database gets more and more of a joke by the week. If the aspiration is to become a document of serious record, this is the right way to go about undermining its veracity. -- Last edit: 2021-01-21 22:46:28 |
