I suppose the gutless diesel found its place towing a 3/4 tonne wide track trailer (FV2381) at 35mph in a convoy down the M54. |

Curious about this one as it looks very convincing but plate 14KC47 checks out as a Vauxhall Cavalier as above. All other Land Rovers seen so far are genuine serving military with original numbers. Only doubtful thing is sun roof but these may have been standard specially if V8. Maybe the army themselves played around with plates. This one in Londons Burning 7.10 checks out as real military and it is a V8 ! - Vehicle data (post 1989) ERM : 35KF88 Asset code : WB 1155 4103 Designation : CAR UTY MED 4X4 12 SEATER LAND 110 (V8) PTL Holding UIN : Unit title : VEHICLE NO LONGER IN SERVICE Chassisno. : SALLDHMV7BA256888 Engine no. : Contract no. : LR34 Colour : White Gloss NSN : 2310998938010 Date into service : 21/04/1986 Cast date : 24/07/2001 -- Last edit: 2021-01-12 09:56:04 |
