Being reading my 'Bumper Book of Leaf Sprung Military Land Rovers'! 23HG18 is a genuine military S111 of a batch of 118 purchased 1979/80. Apparently when the Lightweight 88in came on stream it was supplied for all GS ( general service) roles.
