Yes. The side strip looks jam-sandwich police livery, but wondering if the black grille might be a Lotus - some police forces used them. Not sure if wide Lotus wheel .... any better shot of the plate? |

Any idea which police forces used them? Looking at the youtube version the location is Madeira Drive, Brighton. Registration I think is 1968/9 'G' suffix, it could be ??J143G the first two letters something like RNJ or UNJ for Brighton from a lot of guesswork? |

RNJ 343G was an East Sussex Lotus (along with 342G and 344G). And wide wheels in first thumb. List of known police Mk2 Lotus here (including some unique 4 doors). |

RNJ 343G or 342G gets my vote, with RNJ 342G possibly slightly better clocked in the video. |
