Is that a definite link for this car?? I can't trace anything from various googles, apart from a 2017 picture of 9 DBC on a modern blue Continental GTC.

 Glass's lists some Bentley chassis nos by year for Corniche/Continental, so from July 78 Corniche was CBHxxxxx until June 84 Continental revision starting with FCH09030, then
- Nov 85 GCH 14112 (continued)
- Mar 87 HCH 20238 - fuel injection
- Nov 87 JCH 21212 - slight interior changes
- Nov 88 KCH 25501 - more slight interior changes; winged B badge on grille housing below Flying B mascot
- Nov 89 LCH 30039 - yet more slight interior changes, redesigned fascia
- Aug 90 MCH 30331 - catalytic converter, new radio/cassette with 10 speakers and CD player
- Feb 92 NCH 40339 - 4-speed auto, new wheel size
- Oct 92 PCH ... no numbers or changes listed
- Jan 93 ... more tweaks but no code listed (QCH??)
- Sept 93 ... more tweaks but no code listed (RCH??)
- July 95 SCH 50170 - discontinued, final chassis number.

So each update/cycle they changed the lead letter, and LCH 30132 should fall into the Nov 89-Aug 90 batch. Let's hope it was dark green ....

Nothing to do with the updates, the lead digit is for the Model Year: Link to "en.wikibooks.org"

The full VIN number has more digits in it.
