dsl ◊ 2021-01-07 19:08	The only dating feature visible is the round grille and whether or not it has a central logo; originally this was a round stylised D (the only Daimler badge anywhere on the car) until 73/74 when it was replaced by a rectangular Leyland plaque; this was removed about May 77 leaving nothing until 1979 when rectangular grilles arrived. So this should be a 77-78 as seen, but the first D logos apparently had a tendency to fall off, which may be in character for what looks like a shabby derelict. Not sure if Mr Leather Jacket is buyer or seller, but as he clearly can't afford a proper pair of jeans, it reinforces the idea of neglect and maybe imminent sacrifice to bomber derby destruction.
