Sold in 1938 by Pierre-Louis Dreyfus who had finished 2nd at the 1935 LeMans in the car. It went to the UK in 1938 and was registered as FGC 409. The car was owned by Mike Hawthorn's dad, Leslie, and it was eventually used by the man himself in the 1950s: Link to "webcache.googleusercontent.com" |
