That's why I over 7 years have mastered the art of perfect capturing while the film is running. If I don't do it for a while I need to get back into it, like now. |

My recommendation! Usually take clean captures from my PC cable TV HD device and not from online streaming. |

Most video software enables the user to slow down the speed of the video. On my Alienware PC the Xbox game bar runs without the menu bar showing up on the video player. That is how I can find a movie on youtube. Cap the pic and upload it without ever renting/owning the movie/show. If you need help perfecting capping I can (on the forum) send the step by step instructions Terra wrote up for me when I had trouble last year learning to cap. |

Except at my very first contributions I always capture it without stopping, sometimes even when the video is on 1.5x speed... I also replaced that pic, so there is no player button anymore. |

@dhill cb7 Thank you for the explanation, as it is interesting to learn which devices you use for contributions. I use a Terratec PC TV device on a Terra PC I use a second TV set for anticipation as there is a delay between TV and Terra Than i use VLC player to make secondary screenshots even frame by frame to extract the perfect moment. BTW these shots are lower quality of course An absolut novum for me was to use 'Das Erste live' The crucial point was i had to use screenshot function of browser which is a poke in the fog. Not only the extra big button , no the light is dimmed, too. @Mystery Man Thank you for the replacement. Usually when i have to capture from internet and not from broadcasting i make it the same way. You can use VLC to record your screen, then make caps from the saved video. |

That's what i have done with 'Schimanski' and 'Felmy' last week when at home.
