Hanomag-Henschel / MB? Were they sold in the UK? |

We have at least one listed Hanomag-Henschel (more likely by default) in the UK. But I'm unable to find anything about its history in the Blighty. -- Last edit: 2020-10-07 13:07:55 |

An outfit called “All Seasons” had some, they had a flat, low rear deck to transport small civil engineering equipment. |

Can't find any reference in Glass's listings to Hanomag/Hanomag-Henschel being sold here, only Mercs. I know diddley-squat about Merc van numbering, but it looks from some Glass's listings that this happened: - Jan 73 - L206D and L306D diesels arrived, 2197cc - Oct 77 - replaced by L207D and L307D diesels with longer wheelbases, 2404cc - Nov 80 - 208 petrol added, 2307cc - Jan 81 - 308 petrol added, 2307cc - Sept 82 - 208 and 308 replaced by 210 and 310 petrols, 2299cc; L207D and L307D continued without recorded changes. My listings run out in mid-85, so no idea what happened next. I haven't tried to unravel complicated permutations of wheelbases and payload figures, but there were loads of different choices which kept changing as the updates happened. |
