It resembles a Springfield 40/50 with a Brewster Playboy body, but I would have expected drum headlamps. Any thoughts? |

I am not totally happy with this, as the Brewster Playboy coachwork was also fitted to the earlier 40/50 “Silver Ghost” type chassis, which is why I said only 40/50 in the first posted comment. https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/20148/lot/338/ However, since the above link to a “Ghost” shows drum headlamps, and since the link to a “New Phantom” doesn’t it may be correct. |
