I'm not sure about the B-pillar being all in chrome ![]() To me it looks like [W108] b-pillar with chrome trim on each side, rather than fully chromed [W109] b-pillar. All window frames would be fully chromed as well, I think. -- Last edit: 2020-08-01 21:32:22 |

Okay, than we can get there by another method i think (quote from my favourite movie the Quiller Memorandum) the usual ratio for a W108 no SEL yellow line to red line is 5/3 while SEL has a ratio being rather 6/3 neglecting angle of perspective and car in motion - so if it is an SEL in 1966 it should be a W109 as well this comparisation shows as well there is continuous metallic shine on B-pillar while a W108 should have car color there in centre of pillar BTW this is the car of Norodom Sihanouk President of Cambodia 1955 - 1970 and later Pol Pot loved streched Mercedeses so all we have to do is search for another evidence... |

Alright, perhaps you're right about the lenght of the rear doors, so let's agree with 300 SEL [W109], however I still find it very odd that so much chrome around the window frames isn't visible in the thumbnail, when it should be. -- Last edit: 2020-08-02 02:41:02 |

It would become visible better when in motion... |
