Did Colombia get them from the US or Mexico (VAM)? |

What do you mean? |

Were they US-made or Mexican-made Jeeps? |

Because US made were called ‘Jeep’. Mexican built were called ‘VAM’. Basically night cub is asking how to list the manufacturer. Did Colombian market receive US built or VAM (mexican) built Jeeps? Edit: wiki for VAM: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veh%C3%ADculos_Automotores_Mexicanos -- Last edit: 2020-07-24 02:19:44 |

Here they were always called Jeeps or 'yipaos' the name VAM I never heard it here until the end of the 90's the' Willys were also taxis and in fact they were so many that the shape and models and not any VAM anywhere, it is believed the 70's models were the rural Brazilians and the CJ7s, and that's if I leave it open because maybe they still came from the USA, but I don't think they were Mexican. This looks more like a CJ7 renegade or a sport version '80 - '83 |

The tapered windshield w/ internal wiper motor puts it 1976 or newer so CJ5 or CJ7 is possible. The wide track axles make it 1982 or newer. Front axle appears open knuckle Dana 30 with antiroll bar links which was much more common on CJ7 than the CJ5. So I would suggest a 1982 CJ7 until better pic rules it out. |

Look at photos until I saw the similarity for now I'm only going to chapter 60, while in the distance it is noticeable for the axles and offroad tires I notice it as a CJ7 for 80 to 83. |
