Looks like Brazilian high roof to me |

Yeah, we've had a few of these before here, usually converted by Danbury: /vehicle_907174-Volkswagen-Kombi-Typ-2-2010.html /vehicle_750758-Volkswagen-Kombi-Typ-2-2008.html /vehicle_441704-Volkswagen-Kombi-Typ-2-2008.html /vehicle_158613-Volkswagen-Kombi-Typ-2-2007.html |

I also thought this was Brazilian, but it didn't have the watercooled front so I decided against. |

Yeah, some of them have a fake front to accomodate a spare wheel: Link to "www.danburycampervans.co.uk" It's a 2010 plate (from the Stockton-on-Tees area), but fake, most of these were registered locally to the converters, Danbury, in Bristol. |

Sorry guys, you're both slightly wrong, it is water cooled, but it is not a spare wheel in there - it's a radiator fitted to a dummy spare wheel cover In Sandie's last link above you can see the real spare wheel as well - fitted to the rear Powered by a 1390 engine kicking out 80 horses, converted to RHD by Danbury, some were even fitted with an electric power steering |

I'm not sure the 'Made for' tag should be used - it certainly wasn't made for GB, was it, it was built as LHD and converted ny Danbury -- Last edit: 2020-07-23 10:27:20 |
