dsl ◊ 2020-07-15 21:58	With Hawks we put it in the model name because - as with many Rootes-jewels - they used conflicting titles so Hawks started with a Mark sequence 1930s to mid-50s, then reset the counter and changed to a Series sequence in 1956. Thus we have Hawk Mk1 and 20 years later a Hawk Series 1. Similar scenarios with other Humbers, Minxes (except using Phase and Series), Huskys, Commer Cob etc.
