It must be this: https://leichenwagenforum.de/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1459060680 So 1972, built in (?) or rather for Switzerland, then modified at Pilato in Italy and came to Germany in 2005. I think AnimatronixX knows more as it seems it's very rare and probably the only one in Germany. |

Strange. Wouldn't a 1972 model have an egg-crate grille? ![]() --> 1971 --> 1972 |

It's actually unique and thus definitely the only one in Germany. That's what it looked like when we met more than a decade ago (I think that was before Jochen bought it): The GM-Suisse-built Oldsmobile and its sister-car, a 1975 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, were bodied by Pilato Autotrasformazioni for a funeral home in Switzerland, who also ordered the dark windows in the rear. While the Olds is still very close to its original appearance, the Chevelle Malibu stayed in Switzerland and nowadays has to bear the fate of being painted pink with a pink-pink front fascia. |

@AnimatronixX: if everything goes right, I'll save next week a bit of history of your home area ![]() And it may be a nut to crack about its make and history. |
