How many other red Elites ran at Le Mans and in which years is a question beyond my pay grade. That red #38 was a late 58 car, chassis 1007P (described as Maximar as the first 250 bodies were made by Maximar Mouldings at Pulborough, Sussex), driven by Jean-Claude Vidilles/Jean-François Malle, retired after fire.
