#2 is the Ford/Shelby Mk.IV (Bruce McLaren/Mark Donohue) yellow with black main and pinstripes, finished 4th. So Porsche #43 was French private entry (has French-looking numberplates) 911 S “Franc” (Jacques Dewes)/Anton ‘Toni’ Fischhaber), retired after an hour with clutch failure, so this must be first Ford pit-stop early in race. |

Ha! I started off investigating #42, then decided looked more like #43. Buchet/Linge finished 14th, which opens things up to explain all the gaffer tape on #2, as during the night "the rear engine bonnet flew off on the Mulsanne straight and 45 minutes were lost retrieving and refitting it, dropping them to 6th.". |
