How? |

I don't think that a plain Swedish model would just randomly appear in New York City when America has USA-Spec models. It also couldn't have come from Canada since the 15 year mark for importing a car could not have passed when this episode was filmed. |

Why must we keep going over this??!? If we can't see anything different on this than the Swedish version then we do not list it as made for anything. also your comment about it not be able to come from Canada is also false, Canadian cars that are also sold in the US are not required to wait until the 15 years is up. I have owned 4 Canadian Spec cars (1991 Pontiac Tempest, 1989 Chevrolet Tracker, 1991 GMC Tracker and a 1997 Pontiac Sunrunner) -- Last edit: 2011-12-14 04:08:52 |

Even though unlikely, it could be a government imported car for the Swedish Embassy too |

Well, I meant that it was a import into Canada and then sent to the USA via Canada (a car has to be at least 15 years to be imported into Canada, around 20-something for the USA, can't remember now). Well, that would be interesting. Though I would assume it would be black or grey since many diplomatic cars are flat colors as such. -- Last edit: 2011-12-14 06:10:33 |

As this example could be either USA or Canada version due to illuminated rear sidemarker. |
