Not very easily unless there's a glimpse of interior - S3 was upgraded with wood dash, new seats, console, fold-down luggage platform over rear seats etc. Later S3 after Oct 65 had twin front minor lights. The significant change for S3 was more power with twin carbs and better exhaust, including silencers under passenger sill plus under rear bumper, so this looks like S2 straight-through system.
