somehow makes me think of the Asuna SE , in EU-spec
but i'm probably way out of it...

I must say it's a bit of a task to find a decent rear shot of EU-spec Corolla with these tail lights which wouldn't be modified in any way, but here's a couple:

Corolla with 2 burned light bulbs could be a possibility ( unless they didn't lit up the same way as here )

I agree on the Toyota Corolla. But since the setting is, I'm assuring it's in Europe. This is an EU-spec 1987-1991:
