I think it's a 2004-05 Lancer Evolution VIII, because 2006 and 07 models full name was Lancer Evolution IX And 2002 (1st year for this generation of Lancers) and 03 models full name was Lancer Evolution VII. And since last spring 2008 models have a brand new body.

2003 models were the same as 2004-2005 here in the states. Maybe different elsewhere. We did not get any 2007 Evos here in the states.
